Fat Joe revisited

Hey guys, I'm kinda sad this is the last lesson for the course, but it's been a blast! I've learned so much here and I really will be applying everything I've learned to my drawing from here on. Welp, here is the new version of my Fat Joe. The old one is on the left, and the new one on the right. Any critiques are welcome!

My Jack character and the Fat Joe result

He Stephan,

Thanx again for the lessons. They've been really inspirational. It's too bad you don't give more courses :-) Here is my Fat Joe. And some pics from the Jack & Hyde lesson. For more stuff you can check out my blog at:

Yeah,..it's a weird name. But Freek just means "Fred" in dutch.

Hyde revisited

Visit My Blog

This was the runner up character when we where picking which one we’d take through to the finial. So With everything I’ve learned, I went back to him, and reworked him. Over the next while, I’ll post some of the other characters that had potential but never quite made it :)

Latest assignment

Hey guys, just sharing my latest assignment here. I've certainly been learning a lot from this class. There's been a lot of invaluable tips and advice from Stephen that affects how I've been drawing. Welp, here's my Jekyll! It's been hard tackling this character, because I think I tend to mix some graphic cartoon elements with more traditional style.... So part of it will look kind of flat, and another part will look like its got more form and dimension. Welp, gotta keep on learning!

Now & Then:

Hey everyone - So I've had so much fun over the last few weeks, which I'm sure we all have. Recently I've taken a look back over my work from previous assignments, and I'm so delighted with the changes, I thought I'd post them here. The top one is the most recent design, after Stephen's insights, and the one below was my first concept of our Jekyll character. I'd love to hear what you think, don’t be shy with the critiques :)
